LSU wasnt flat. Its like the bcsncg against bama people said the same. do sane fans really think we werent excited to play for it all. when you get controlled at the line of scrimmage you're in for a long night and it looks like you quit. they were just getting their dicks knocked in the dirt and thats deflating after 2 or 3 series. we're just usually the ones doing it to opposing teams. Our defense will not be able to do this because they are way too soft upfront. Our offense better find a way but its going to take some time.

Which former LSU player wanted the LSU oline coach job??? Les made a mistake, hope he does not wait for 4 years to figure it out. If this line with the experience they have and the "talent" that has been gushed upon them can't block then the problem I think is what they are being told to do.

That Hail State fiasco has already cost us in recruiting. Kevin Henry just flipped to OK State. How many more??

Do a little homework here, yes Kevin would have loved the job, but he too said they made a great choice. Kevin is never one to BS, he tells it like it is. Always has. Once again, homework, do you know Kevin has spent time in practice at LSU? He also said that it was time for a change, he also said Grimes is teaching much of what he would be teaching. He and Grimes both learned much of the same technique from some of the same teachers/coaches.

Our center was getting beat at times the other night, of course the player, that was doing the damage, has been awarded the SEC player of the week, a few times this year, an its still early.

    I'll help:

    Preston Smith, DL, Mississippi State
    • For the second straight week, Preston Smith made an acrobatic interception.
    • Against UAB, he returned it 21 yards in the first quarter for his first career touchdown.
    • Smith added five tackles, one tackle for loss and one quarterback hurry.
    • He is the only defensive lineman in FBS to return a pick for a score this season.
    • Smith as a defensive lineman is tied for the SEC lead in interceptions.

    Preston Smith, DE, Mississippi State

    • Smith picked off his first career pass early in the first quarter that halted a Southern Miss drive and then blocked a 30-yard field goal attempt in the third quarter to preserve MSU's first shutout since 1999.- The blocked FG was picked up by Jay Hughes and returned 70 yards for a touchdown.
    • Smith also added two tackles, one quarterback hurry and one pass breakup. It was Smith's second career blocked field goal.
    • Smith was part of an MSU unit that limited USM to just 2.2 yards per carry and 71 yards on the ground.

    FYI:

Tigers add safety to 2015 class
LSU picked up its 15th commitment for the 2015 class on Tuesday as the No. 1 safety in the junior college ranks committed to the Tigers in Jeremy Cutrer.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder was a part of the Tigers' 2013 class before he had to go the junior college route due to academics.

The sophomore at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College played receiver as a freshman in 2014, but has moved back to safety for his final year before heading to Baton Rouge.

Cutrer is the No. 7 overall prospect in junior college according to the 247Sports Composite.

He'll lose a hell of a lot more than that at Okie State.

Yup... one kid sees greener pastures in obscurity, and then another gem pops up. Bye bye Henry.

should he wait til the season is over to see the inevitable? he doesnt have to study nostradamus to know we'll have a handful of losses this year. if thats his criterion.
