Gajan blocked for Alexander his senior year, but it was Kelly Simmons who made an All-American out of Alexander in '76 and '77. Simmons also averaged over 6 yards a carry from the fullback position.

Interestingly, Hokie Gajan in 1984 is listed as #3 in NFL history for yards per carry in a season as a primary running back (after Mercury Morris in 1973 and Barry Sanders in 1997). 6.03 yards.

They actually mentioned Justin Vincent in the first week of '04 as a "possible", though early in the season. Of course, this was right before he went cold. Still feel bad for that guy.. he was a great Tiger.

Sounds like you're trying to insinuate that you're really too young to remember...:hihi:

I was a student at that time...no I can't even try to insinuate anything like that.

I remember playing against that guy my senior year. It is nice to watch some of the players on tv that you played against.

I searched the page for "LSU" so I wouldn't have to read through them all and missed the "Louisiana State."

    My bad.

I think the page I looked at had the Top 10 finishers by year. And I was surprised Faulk didn't finish in the Top 10.
