    I love LL, he,s a freakin "beast". Yea, he's gotta be careful in the "Pu**yazz" NFL. God forbid he make solid a hit on their "diamond" QBs. I think Ronnie Lott got some heat for some of his hits during his career. But OMG, what a player!!!

    You want your safeties to be tough as hell otherwise teams will throw over the middle all game and get huge chunks of yards. But if there's a feared safety sitting back there offensive co-ordinators will look other places and makes the rest of the defense's job much easier. All mean safeties through the years, Ronnie Lott and Jack Tatum etc., were loved by some and hated by others. But that mean streak is also what made them great and if they held back because they didn't want to hurt some WR coming over the middle, they probably would not be held in such high regard.

    I hope LaRon continues to make big plays and it's sad to see Tigers fans in this thread who are dissing him now but loved while he was a Tiger.
