The Bobby Petrino story says different. Briles turned a perennial loser around. Someone will be desperate enough within the next few years to come out and declare that Art deserves a second chance. That in conversations they can tell that Art is repentant and sincerely regrets mistakes in the past ya da ya da ya da ya da . . . .

 

2 completely unrelated events and "crimes" if you will. Petrino was/is an asshole who cheated on his wife with either the gf or wife of another coach. Briles failed to report multiple rapes/sexual assaults AFTER speaking directly to the victims.

Art Briles has coached his last football game. Unless it is some longest yard type shit from the inside of the pen

 

Time will tell. I say Briles will coach again. He will go the Jimmy Swaggart route and say "Forgive me for I have sinned" and he will be forgiven by some school desperate enough to turn a blind eye.
