And despite all of that, the Scranton branch had a surplus of over $4000. So Ha!

If you remember, Michael called his boss because so that he wouldn't have to make the decision and be the "bad guy". Some times you have to be the bad guy and make the tough decisions. You know, like make a decision on who was the best guy for the DC position last year.
Did you also notice after the Oklahoma linebacker, No. 33, committed a personal foul late in the game Bob Stoops went after him to let him know that was a stupid bonehead play? I like that and have no problem with letting a guy know he did wrong. Not a physical mistake but a mistake like committing a personal foul on defense with 3rd and 29.:dis:

You must remember that Bo Pelini left the defensive staff last season and not one coach was hired for the defense. That means that a position is open. DC, and Malveto will be position coaches again. Thanks for filling in for one year but that is over. LSU!

College football is big business and it generates millions of dollars a season not just for the schools in general but for the athletic programs as well. Like any other University, Miles, the AD and whoever need to realise this and do what it takes to bring in the best available individual to solidy that half of our football programs equation and once again make LSU profitable. Business sometimes requires a shrewd and cut throat approach and after the lack luster effort and result of this season by our defense, I think Miles to be the equivelant to Trump and cut the weak links out. Do you really think Saban, Myer, Carroll, Tressel, Stoops or Brown or any other successful college coach wouldn't do it to ensure the successes of their programs... hmmm, wonder why their typically at the top of the polls year in and year out?

Definitely, plausible points here. Still, Miles way seems to be more appropriate from a big picture standpoint. Getting ahead by their methods, even if successful, does not mean that there isn't another way of dealing with this scenario. I would rather someone who is methodical and conscientious, than someone cut-throat, unless the situation really calls for it. Hard to say here what is the "right" approach. Lets hope it's CLMs.
