Then I guess that baseball coach and this coaching staff don't have a problem when players get frustrated and kick the ball after the play has been blown dead.
I don't think integrity is a fatal flaw. If you don't think he got what was coming to him behind closed doors.. :insane:
You're welcome, but after 5,000 or so posts in a week about a new DC, preaching patience is somewhat self-serving:lol: I mean, I am anxiously awaiting an announcement, too, and is actually why I keep checking out the board, but the anxious opinions need to keep the big picture in mind - it's only been a week since the season ended!
and not everyone's season has ended yet. who knows, the SEC may have even told LSU, Moo U and Auburn to hold off on any announcements until after the SEC CG so as not to "show-up" the game today.
Note my comment: I am sure that CLM is making mental notes of places where "coaching will be required during the next practice". Rather tongue in cheek way of saying what happens in the game directly impacts on what happens in practice. Where punishment is required, it will be assessed at practice, not during the game. Have you ever "run stadiums"?
I have no problem with integrity. I am quite fond of it. This has nothing to do with integrity and everything to do with fixing a system that is broken. For example, if your employees are fubar'ing at the office, and costing the company results and money, I don't care how much integrity you have, you better sack 'em and hire a replacement that can get the job done. I don't care how chummy you are with the boss, and even if you have Thanksgiving dinner with the guy, when its your time, its your time. I don't see the boss trying to find you another job before he sh!tcans you. It is Miles' job to put together a winning system, and when the system is broken, you have to fix the system. Fixing the system is the first priority. His responsibility is to the program. Winning with integrity is respectable. Losing with integrity is admirable. Its hard to fire an underperforming employee. But a man's gotta do what he has to do. Sometimes its better to just cut bait, rather than drag it out. To me, it takes more integrity to just be a man and take care of business.
Even so... they beat UGA with over 400 yards on the ground, and UGA held us to under 190 yards. Granted GTs passing isn't great but ours isn't exactly stellar. Should be a good game, I just hope we have a defenswe show up.
