    how about retire and restore a bit of dignity by not doing it a second time! at what point do you let your kid fly on his own? jr is 35 for cryin out loud. so you just keep being part of a "package"?

    I'm sure Lane didn't "lick it off the bricks". Monte at least understood the need for damage control. At this point in time Monte Kiffin's career is to make sure his son is set for life before he kicks the bucket.

    True. Maybe he's just one of those parents that can't clip the wings.
    How great would it have been if he decided to leave the Dynamic Duo? Or the Trio, for that matter.
