He was seen in the indoor prax facility yesterday evening. He was not wearing a boot. He was not limping. It was believed, however, that he did not practice yesterday.
If Landry is not 100%, and they double up on Beckam, I believe this will be the game where we see a dozen or so passes to the TE/RB. We haven't HAD to before now. Cam knows what he's doing, and we have the weapons.
Added to the fact that I think we'll struggle to run the ball consistently. This game is on Mett's shoulders...hopefully the O-line steps up and helps him out.
This is key. You saw a brief glimpse in the Ga game how he's willing to use the RBs in the passing game, and not just on screen passes. I look for Magee and Hill to get some passes beyond the LOS. Gordon & Dickson should get their opportunities, as well. I think this would be the case even if Jarvis was 100%. Exactly. We've murdered every defense we've faced while running pretty basic sets with good variety. I guarandamntee you that Cam is going to confuse the gaytors. It won't be anything flashy, like some trick plays or wildcat stuff. I think it will be subtle differences that look similar to plays & formations that UF is game-planning for. As I said in another thread, he may very well use Brazil's incognito suspension as a way for them to have forgotten about him.
That thought never occurred to me. Sounds good to me! I honestly think that either Boone or Dural will step up this game.
Even if he's not 100% he will play - and play a lot - and if nothing just to run decoy and short routes. His biggest value is being THE 3rd down receiver making big catches that extend the drives.
More coach speak from Les, but my money says he plays. http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2013/10/lsu_coach_les_miles_hopes_to_h.html
