We have Reid & Loston next year, & then I'm sure if one of them (Reid) goes pro after that, we'll have a guy step up in his spot! The only position we need more depth at is LB's.

We lost a 5 star safety and gained a 5 star QB, someone none of us realistically thought we'd get.

Considering LSU is stacked in the defensive secondary and that LSU has never been Quarterback U, I'll gladly take the trade.

Collins is a GUMP now. Frick him and lets move on and leave him in the dustbin of history.

I agree 100%. It would've been great to get Collins, but we're stacked on D. We need a QB who can throw the damn ball. If we had a QB that could make throws now, we would be arguably the best college team of all time! The only time I've seen Mett get real PT was in the spring game, & that kid's got a cannon! He can throw the deep ball, but he can also make those quick slants. I saw him make a few short passes that were in the receivers hands so quick, they didn't realize they caught it yet.

LC was a luxury. Not a need. We will still do what we do. We are LSU.

They need to take away the big media stages for these kids. LC knew two years ago he was going to Bama but played the game so he could get some TV time and make a spectacle of himself. We prop these kids up too much when they need some humble pie.

they use us, we use them.

thats how it works. its not a 1-way street.

I hear this frequently. There isn't a thing he can experience in Tuscaloosa that he can't experience in Baton Rouge. Nothing good anyway.

Because she was offered a track scholly and accepted it. If LSU had offered her the same, then LC would be a committed Tiger today.

This is the 2nd occasion that I am aware of in which Saban has used this same tactic. Urban Meyer was also fond of the same practice and used it a couple of times I am aware of.
