Lance Moore's catch for the 2 pointer

Some publications argued that it was a blown call and that it was a no catch because of what the rule says.

Also, the refs were great for the most part only about 5 or less penalties all night.

thats a college rule the nfl didnt adopt til the mid 90's but thankfully they finally did.

but i dont think it ever happened since i certainly dont remember one (which means it probably happened 10x). although i do remember john fox for carolina going for 2 and failing with the entire 4th qtr to play against the patriots.

probably cost them the game.

it took me till monday to realize the game was reffed pretty well. if i was wearing stripes, i don't know if i could've called lance's two pointer a catch either. but that's why they have the challenge system.

 

How many penalties can you remember that were called. I only remember a false start by the Colts.

 

well there was a pushoff on the colts. and for some reason i think another one possibly a personal foul against the saints right before that.

 

No way. Any house that offered 500 to 1 on that is completely crazy. 10 to 1 is more likely. Either you guys are mistaken or it was a scam.

Well, if it were the old Saints, it was incomplete. Just like every play that went our way this year. They would have all been against us if this were the old Saints. For some unknown reason, every call this year went our way from fumble replays to Mecham's takeaway, to catch or no catch. I can't ever remember getting any of these yet we got almost every one this year. Destiny prevails.
