Wow. He throws in the towel against the doping allegations and will be stripped of his 7 Tour de France titles. Sad day. The needle nazis win. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...3a2320-ed98-11e1-9ddc-340d5efb1e9c_story.html
I know....he's been tested hundreds of times and never flunked a test. The French have even searched his hotel rooms looking for signs that he took steroids. They've gone to the extreme and have only come up with baseless allegations from jealous competitors and media. I guess Armstrong gave up because he's retired and this doesn't affect him financially or competitively in any way.
Is this true?? I heard the news this morning and thought I remembered that they never had found anything. But I honestly have never followed the story. How can they do that with no evidence?
I don't understand why the they are so intent on bringing Armstrong down. Imma call bullshit on the charges.
This is the US Anti-Doping Agency. They have no reason to go after an American sports hero if they didn't have mountains of evidence. Lance giving up the fight and refusing to ever address it is him betting that you don't care about his cheating. I happen to think he cheated, don't care, have never/will never watch a minute of a cycling race, and hope he continues to raise money for cancer by selling those tacky rubber band bracelets.
