Suppose to be pretty good but no Leonard. I expect that if LF7 wasn't his brother he would be playing at a lesser program than LSU. But, hey, if that's what it takes to keep Buga Nation happy I'm all for it.
I would have switched positions if I was Lanard. How in the hell can you follow in those footsteps your whole life? Mad props to the kid for not.
After what I saw Saturday, I would have offered all his syblings, children, and grandchildren scholarships....
Aren't only 60 players allowed to dress out for a conference game? Lanard was on the sidelines in uniform. Maybe he played some on special teams.
For a home game they can dress them all according to Miles, but only 80 can play and that list of 80 is turned into the league office before the game.
Being allowed to dress and stand on the home sideline is about the only reward they can give the walk-ons. And they get a photo with their parents and Les on Senior Day. They do a lot of hard work for that. And for the girls, of course.
He could have gone somewhere where heIt would get playing time. But for 5 days following Katrina the Fournette family was trapped on the Claiborne Street bridge. I don't know if they had any food or water at all. It must have been excruciatingly hot. I don't know if they even had any shade. Seeing the kind of man Leonard is now makes me think he became a man during those 5 days even though he was only 10. It wouldn't surprise me if Leonard didn't give some of his food and water to his little brother if they had any. Despite the horror and uncertainty of when or if they would be rescued it would have been an incredibly powerful bonding experience. That lasts for a lifetime.
