    After the Hawkins incident I do not get too pumped up about recruits from Cali.

    I wouldn't let that incident taint you with this guy...he is a stud and a half and doesn't sound like he would pull a Hawkins....

    Keith Rivers was a top 10 recruit last year and went to USC and plays the same position as this guy (and has already seen significant playing time). He'd have a long fight to get to the top of their depth chart at MLB, but with the departure of Turner and Kuale being a senior next year he'd see lots of early playing time if that is something he is concerned about.

    It sounds like the family in Miss. would change things as far as being homesick, etc... like Hawkins. I know what you're saying though.
