Kobe getting a divorce will drive him to distroy all the competition. He is still the best player in the league. CP3 will not take over LA. Watch the old Kobe with his fresh legs to shoot lights out and jam his balls in everyones face. If you ain't scared you better be now suckers.

If the Lake Show was no better than the second round of the playoffs last year, why would you think the same team with no significant additions and the loss of the best 6th man in the game, not to mention the Zen Master, will do better? You're right about the Clippers though. Too many holes in that roster for CP3 to fill by himself.

They lost Odom and have a damaged Gasol (ego hurt).

They have a 40 year old point guard.

They have a head case named Meta World Peace.

Good luck being better than the Clippers this season.

    And that's on the real.

The clippers will be a force once cp3 and blake get their crap together, however that is about the time both will tire and they have NO bench to speak of. They will make a little noise but nothing to be alarmed about. No bench, no title.

this is not so. I guess I forgot the "n" in my previous reply. ooops. Perhaps it was the outright proposition of a wager. Either way, LA doesn't even sniff the finals this year.

Kobe is still an elite player but father time is undefeated. The Lakers traded Odom for basically nothing, even though he was coming off one of his best seasons. There are some severe strains between players & management.

I think the West will come down to the Mavs & Thunder again.

I may have to start pulling for the Clippers a bit because they are going to be fun to watch and overall are a likeable team. How will the Lakers handle Hollywood celebs favoring the other team in town?

Kobe looked like he was about to explode this morning on SportsCenter after losing a pre-season game......Kobe era Lakers are done......I don't think there is a sports figure I despise more than him, complete arrogant turd.

Don’t get to excited about a preseason defeat. Kobe looks to be in midseason form. PG is nailing 3’s now and AB is meaner then ever with winning on his mind. MWP isn’t starting anymore and Fisher is still the BEST clutch 3-point shooter in the NBA. With 1 second left on the clock Dfish will light it up like no other. The Lakers are going to be just fine and I expect another title for Kobe = him with Jordan. Any players added to this team will be bonus. By the way the new coach is defensive minded and adds a feature to the team that they haven’t had in a while. Kobe is the man as long as he stays away from Kim K. I hear Lamar tried hooking them up.

Lets see you have looney toons formerly known as, oh yeah what was his name?
A point guard that just got his AARP card in the mail
Kobe, well he aint what he used to be but still dangerous
    No more Zen master
    An even softer Pao

Like I said, the Lakers don't even sniff the WCF much less the whole enchilada.

Oh, you do still have Luke Walton. At least you got that going for you.
