LOL at the LaFell-will-not-reconsider crowd in the "Lafell going pro" thread.

Good news. Withouth Lafell, the WR position was gonna be very thin next year. I expect him to have a Michael Clayton or Dwayne Bowe type of season.

This is great news, and I feel like it was a good decision for BL. There are a lot of elite WRs in this year's draft, but BL has a chance to be one of the best going out next year.

I think our recent past the players that haven't gone pro have helped us tremendously. Even after stellar seasons we haven't lost that many that could have gone, like, Doucet, Dorsey, Lafell, etc.. We have managed to keep it down to one a year on average I believe. It would be interesting to see a list by years on who we lost. I think Russell came out as a junior, Ricky Jean just left, but I can't recall the others.

I remeber that Josh Reed left after his junior season. Can't remeber about Micheal Clayton. Trev Faulk left early and that turned out to be a mistake.

Ryan Clark did too, and it took him a couple of years before he really caught on.
