I wholeheartedly agree with you, Cparso, and others that share the same idea "that LaFell returning should not have a negative impact on RR's decision". I recall reading RR's Army All-Star Game interview when he was asked to give things he liked about each remaining team in his recruiting process. He listed one main WR target when he referred to OU, OKla St., and Bama. When he mentioned LSU, he referred to LaFell and Toliver being able to help him "grow" into the position and the SEC. (see the link below) So even RR agrees with LaFell's presence on the roster next season being a plus. http://rivals100.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=894509
Just popped in to see if anything is happening and ,Man, Great news. Made my day. He will not regret it and will improve his stock with another year. Good move Lafell :geaux::geaux::geaux:
If anything, RR can look at this as a great opportunity to learn from a "complete" wideout. He does it all, runs great routes, blocks on the edge and catches with his hands away from his body. Advantage LSU.
:wave:Great to hear this news...I think he should have a better season with JJ throwing to him all season.:geaux::wave:
It just made JJ's life a whole lot easier. A go to guy in the clutch. We needed this boost to our offense. This will also help Toliver immensely as he still finds his way into our offense more and more.
Great news. Glad he'll be back next year. We need him- BIG TIME! 2009 will be a much better year for our Tigers. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
