If I'm a theatre owner, maybe I can save a lot of money by posting signs at the entrances saying,"For your security, an armed theatre marshall is seated in all cinemas." Of course, that might scare away a lot of law abiding customers.
@red55 will pooh pooh this until he is poopooing in his pampers unarmed and defenseless against the thugs who will steal his daily bowl of mush. http://nation.foxnews.com/2015/07/28/obama-pushing-largest-gun-grab-american-history-nra
I can't fight it anymore. I've decided to go along with the idea of gun registration. As long as all other deadly weapons or registered too. Lets start with knives. What? You have a whole set of kitchen and steak knives? What are you? Some kind of a nut? Of course assault knives would be completely banned. So melt down those Rambo knives and turn them into plowshares. I don't know what a plowshare is but it sounds dangerous. Register them too. Do you own any tools. Hammers are pretty deadly. Screwdrivers too. Register them. Crowbars and tire tools too. And some power tools, especially those deadly wood chippers. Didn't you ever see Fargo? Not to mention chain saws. Al Pacino almost got chopped up by a chainsaw in Scarface. There are millions of unregistered golf clubs in this country. What, you don't think of them as weapons? Ask Tiger Woods how a 9 iron across the teeth feels. Baseball bats too. Both wood and aluminum. I saw one used to beat the hell out of somebody before they buried him alive in Casino. Zip ties are a favorite weapon of serial killers to bind and choke their victims. A good piece of paper proving they are registered will put an end to that. And glass bottles too. Why do you think a lot of liquor is sold in plastic bottles nowdays? For sure not because plastic makes it taste better. Can you believe that in this day and age people can just walk into a store and buy a bottle of whiskey with no background check? Any thing else? Oh, yeah. Lots and lots of people have been killed by bows and arrows. And slingshots. Really deadly. Even a giant like Goliath wasn't immune to a single shot by a slingshot.
