Beast mode. He and Alexander anchor this line on the left side, what will be our dominant side. Porter seems to be solid at center. The big play by Magee was down the left sideline. Textbook blocking by the guys up front. I have the game DVR'ed coming up in a couple of nights (2 hour version of the game), and I want to go back and see who performed well and where we may be weak in the O-line. My guess is the right side of the line and maybe Hawkins specifically, the new kid. I remember all the pass pressure seemed to be from the right side of the line and usually around the edge.

Average Height = 6'5 1/4". Average Weight = 321 lbs.
Pocic is big for a center, eh? Will he be moved? Isn't he backing up some of the other spots on the OL?
It's more than size and weight. Modern offensive linemen have to be smart and they have to have moblity. All this talk all summer about how Pocic might start at center and split time with Porter . . . and he didn't even get into the game. People talk of our depth on the O-Line but I don't get it. Year in and year out, Chief rotates his defensive linemen and each year we lose top players but replace them with experienced reserves with game time. But Studrawa plays his starters for 60 minutes. Reserves never see the field. We went out and recruited a Junior college guard. You expect JC transfers to be capable of starting, but Fanaika is just a fat boy. It has to be frustrating to play for Stud.
As much embarrassment Jeremy Hill has caused this old Redemptorist alum La'el Collins sure makes me proud.
