LA'EL COLLINS giving Auburn a hard look?

You have me mixed up with someone else. I've never said you don't deserve the titles. Look around and you'll find posts by me months ago that said we got beat by a better team. You started throwing the wuss references around not me. You seem to be protesting a little much.

you need to get a gps because you obviously took a wrong turn just south of opilicka. in case you havent noticed, this is an lsu board.

of course we think the barners are lying, cheating, scum bags. we are lsu fans. it's what we do. that the majority of the sec thinks that now (hell, make that the majority of cfb fans) is irrelevant. dont come onto an lsu board and play all missy scarlett and expect us to think you are pure as the driven snow. not. gonna. happen.

if you cant take that rival schools think your team cheats, and that trooper taylor, in particular, is a sleeze, you need to either grow thicker skin. but dont expect us to not take shots.

OR if a particular post bothers him he could get a blank look on his face, stare into the monitor, and repeat this phrase over and over; "I have no knowledge of that post, I didn't know they were saying those thinks about me. I'll let my Daddy answer that post - because I didn't read nuttin, I didn't type nuttin, and I don't know who paid for the internet connection".

 

I realize it's an LSU board. I also know there are lots of people here with whom I've managed to have normal conversations and neither side was genuflecting toward the other in the process.

If that's not something you're capable of, thanks for the warning. I'll just ignore your posts from now on since I won't be missing anything.

 

I apparently haven't met many, if any, of those people. All I keep seeing repeated over the last couple of years with him is some fanbase thinking some guy is all theirs or a heavy lean to them. JL finally gives his take on it and says Auburn's in the game. As time goes on, he ups his percentages, other fanbase squalls and claims he's a blind homer. Announcement comes and the kid picks/signs with Auburn. Again, not 100%. But the last couple of recruiting seasons, in the 90-something percent range.

I realize lots of people make predictions and give their take on this stuff. And it's hard to take all the rumors, claims from people in the know, comments from friends and high school coaches and mix that with the whims of a teenager that sometimes wants to make a game out of the whole process and come up with an good guess as to where he ends up. Most suck at it frankly. JL isn't one of them. He's definitely one of the better ones.

 

I think you are correct in thinking that most people believe Auburn is dirty. It would be interesting if a poll were taken nationwide. In this case you couldn't even count on the state of Alabama giving Auburn the innocent nod because there are so many Bama fans. Tony Kornheiser (not sure of the spelling) said he wanted Auburn to win the title just so he could see it all hit the fan when they were found out in a few years.(I'm paraphrasing.) "The money was just too much!!!". Now there is a quote that should be engraved on the BCS trophy!:hihi:

 

What would be even better is if anyone other than Joe Schad could corroborate that such a thing was actually said. Funny how no one's done that all this time later.
