Wrong team before but the same results so far. Instead of ASU being down by 3 to Duke. Georgia is down by 3 against UNC at the half.
I specifically said the Pros are different. When I was 9 years old (in 1958) I became enthralled with the Yankees (Milwaukee Braves won the Series that year). My Dad was a Yankee fan and they were regularly on Saturday baseball telecasts. I was a huge Mantle fan and had many arguments with my neighbor who was a Rocky Colavito devotee. I was devastated when Mazeroski hit a 9th inning HR to win the 60 WS. I religiously followed the "M&M Boys" exploits in 1961. After that season, the Yankees went to crap for about 15 years, yet I continued to live and die with every game, every year. In 77 when Ron Guidry was making noise out of the bullpen, a lot of new Cajun Yankee fans jumped on the bus. But I had been in the front seat for 20 years already. Red Sox fans are enjoying their team now and will undoubtedly have a lot of company as younger fans get attached to them like I did to the Yanks way back when. They may never win another title, but I'll always be in their corner.
