Anywhere in the Top 10 rounds, he has to go. One more elbow problem, he would prob not get drafted in the Top 30 rounds, because that'd be 3 out of 4 years with injuries.
I agree. I do think however he needs to show some improvement in the postseason to reach his best potential draft position. Based on his end of the season performances, scouts may have concerns that his injuries have slowed his progression curve enough that it might be a concern in whether to draft him or not. A good post season should be able to eliminate that concern, some.
He is definitely going to have to improve, and hell, maybe the Tigers go on a run here at the end and he gets back to business as usual. Everyone wins if Ranaudo is instrumental in getting LSU to Omaha this season. I don't see him coming back though, i think he will go at least in the top 6 rounds and turned into a middle relief pitcher.
his line wasn't good because he left all of those men on base, if he would have finished out that inning i think he only gives up one instead of the 3-4 extra runs that were attributed to him. he was directly responsible for two runs. then the bullpen screwed it for him. i think he's back. that performance against BAMA was clutch, clutch, clutch.
