    some national guys were saying yesterday brees may be working to get him in new orleans.

    may have been speculation. caught the end of it.

    i dont care if hes washed up. my memory of him despite it all will be him taking himself out of playoff games 2 years in a row and sitting on the bench looking disinterested.

    looked like he had aaron brooks syndrome.

    perhaps the chargers will take this oppurtunity to overpay for reggie bush. two undersized backs can fight it out for pt in sd. i wouldn't mind seeing the saints sign lt to a 1 year deal. although he probably won't humble himself to take a near minumum deal.

    Drew Brees just tweeted asking if LT should come to New Orleans. Maybe he IS lobbying for his old teammate.

    Maybe and maybe.

    Running back is question mark - SignOnSanDiego.com

    AND Hester just might get an extra look or two in the process of rebuilding a backfield.

    What I know is Hester is regarded as one of the nicest, hardest working troopies on the entire roster. JH needed extra bulk and bigger framing to become the ideal fullback in this league. His off-season regiment has brought just that. A team cannot continue to overlook that kind of effort without seasoning the meat. He gets a good leg under that new and improved frame and he gets a look, no matter what.

    Chargers HAVE to improve on their run block regardless of who they keep in the backfield.

    Oh yeah;

    Gary Wichard better be able to sell you the paint job that is already on the car, think?

    San Diego will not tender Darren Sproles and will allow him to test free-agent market.

    No LT...probably no Sproles.

    What does this mean for Hester now?:thumb:

    I think so, too. I also think that Jacob Hester's stock just rose a little bit. I don't think he'll get 20 carries or anything, but 8-10 per game is a possibilty.

    Mike Detillier was interviewed on a local radio program today, he said no to LT to the Saints and said LT is "done" as a RB in the NFL resulting from how many carries he's had in his career. LT has had more carries than Larry Csonka and Mercury Morris combined.
