I agree with Parso. As of now we may not get either. I think Dyer stays in Arkansas and Texas has to have the edge on Seastrunk.

This gives more reason to take Michael now. A bird in the hand is worth Dyer and Seastrunk in the bush.

This could give you an indication of how he feels. Between him, Connor Wood, and a few others, next year could be a tough one for the horns.

    It's not that simple.

First off, we're dealing with limited scholarships this year - and secondly, just because Rivals says Michael is one of the best in the country doesn't mean our coaches necessarily agree.

If it were just Rivals I wouldn't want him so much. For example, when Rivals had Montrell Conner ranked very high and we wouldn't take him I figured we thought we had better options and that panned out well IMO. However, this time it isn't just anyone evaluating Michael from last year's game film, but Lorenzo White at a prestigious camp where he is outshining all the other backs attending. I value White's in person opinion because he played RB in the NFL and should know what he is talking about when he praises the kid. In addition, the praise being heaped upon him translates well for our offense--looks fluid catching the ball, good quickness, elusiveness, burst...etc.. I understand the limited scholarships and that we can't take everyone, but it really torments me having to turn away such great talent this year. The only consolation is that if we do turn Michael away he may not end up in the SEC and come back to haunt us. While I'm sure we don't give any or much consideration to where a kid goes if we don't get him, we may be better pulling Richardson away from Bama or Fla just so they won't have him. Especially Bama, because they are in our division and just because .....it is Bama.

I won't fight you on this - the guy is very, very talented. Is he on a different level than Pratt or Ford? No.

Seastrunk would be a LSU Tiger if NSD was today.

He is a definite lean to LSU and ours to lose.

I agree. He is a Leesville native and was extremely impressed with LSU's facilities and coaching staff. The fact that he is the first cousin of Michael Ford does not hurt.
