I think we have five guys that are 5* calibre. Michael Ford- RB Leesville Ruben Randle- WR Bastrop DJ Banks- ATH West Monroe Chris Davenport- DT Mansfield Montrell Connor- RB Ouachita I doubt Connor is given the 5th star just because we already have another RB that will be a 5*. Now, do you think Rivals and Scout would rank the other guys 5*'s? LA isnt typically a state that has that many top ranked players. Personally I think only Randle, Ford, and Davenport will be 5*'s.
Havent heard of Darrington. Ill have to look him up. But do you think the recruiting services would give more than 2 or 3 guys 5 star rankings if we had 4-5 guys that deserved 5 star rankings?
Rivals has admitted that they've done a poor job of evaluating Louisiana this year. I think there was some shake-up in who is doing the evaluations or something that has affected it. Will that affect next years group as well? Probably not... I think Louisiana will have two 5 stars next year - Ford & Davenport, both LSU locks.
No way ...that's why I feel like Banks will never get 5* (don't think he deserves it at this point anyway). At most, we'll have 3..but that would be a major ordeal ..more likely 2 tops as cparso says.
I saw montrell connor play a few nights ago when they played captain shreve....he's a monster and I can only imagine good he's gonna be at this time next year.
