This, unfortunately was in New Iberia, my hometown. The police "claim" he shot himself in the back while cuffed. Yeah, the only problem with that is uh, well, not that I can confirm or deny "proper procedure" but I'm pretty sure that before they cuff you and stuff you they pat you the phuck down to look for a weapon, drugs, anything ... So somehow we are supposed to believe that this dude managed to conceal a handgun through that pat down and then while in the cop car was trying to get it out of the waist band of his pants and shot himself in the back. Well, that was until the corner report came out and said he was shot in the chest. Hmm, now just how do you shoot yourself in the chest when your hands are cuffed behind your back? Maybe David Blaine could do it but not so sure about anyone else. New Iberia cops are some dirty bastards, have been for a VERY long time. I trust them as far as I can throw the planet.
I had heard about it a while back but last week when I was in Dallas it was a big story on one of the morning shows, that is when the coroner's report was released saying he was shot in the chest. Of course the PD has no comment.
