I like Jimmy Spencer too. He sure knows how to handle them Busch boys pretty well. :hihi: I feel a little bad for you because you do not have a favorite driver anymore. Me, I go through phases with drivers but ultimately in racing I am an underdog kind of guy. I love to pick a diamond in the rough and watch him go! It is that outlook that buys me in for the next few years. For example I pick Jeff Burton as a favorite because when he left Rousch, he took a building from sticks team and wielded them into a championship form team. He is an ambassador to the sport for how he carries himself and his talents are sometimes immeasurable. I talk allot lately about Travis Kvapil, not because I like him but because of how he is taking a potentially folding team and making them competitive again. I respect that a ton! As for young drivers I am watching Brad Keselowski. This kid has braces still but he has that raw talent that will someday make him a champion.

I would hope you might take that perspective and pick yourself a young start up and become a fan for the little guys. I am tiring a little of the same front runners’ week end week out and look for a spark from someone who can build on what is now a filler team. I love to watch talent hidden in the shadows and right now there is plenty of em out there. Have a great race. :thumb:

I am really ok with not having a favorite driver. I know how you feel though about picking underdogs. That was the reason I picked Jimmy Spencer in the first place. And he does know how to handle the Busch boys, especially Kurt.

I really have more fun at the track just being a :helmet: fan.

I know what you mean. This year was my first Dega trip. I had my LSU gear on all weekend. It didn't help us when we got there Saturday night and had to ask for directions to a certain camping park, but I didn't care. By buddy from B-Ham said next year I'm not allowed to wear my gear till Sunday. I say to hell with that, now I know where I'm going. I enjoyed all too much when some Tide fans and Auburn fans would be arguing and I will just run up and yell "NATIONAL CHAMPS BABY!" Of course I was on the home stretch of a 12pk. But that was part of all the fun.

I would like to see someone tell me when I could wear my :helmet: stuff:lol: I wear mine from the time I get there until the time I leave. My :helmet: stuff is also hanging all around the camper too. In fact the :helmet: stuff has made me a ton of friends at the track.
