1. Rumor has it that Kye Staley, 4-star athlete out of Oklahoma, has committed to LSU. He's listed as 6'0" 200#. He plays QB for his high school, but projects as a DB at the next level. He's the Rivals #3 prospect out of the state of Oklahoma, and Rivals considers him a solid 4-star at this point.

  2. If people want to report rumors, why not use 5 star players? :)
  3. He'll play safety if he comes here. I think he would make a good RB though. 6"0 200 pounds 4.5 40.
  4. Just an FYI, he said is being recruited to play RB.
  5. Yeah, I saw that. I have a hard time buying it if it's true that we're in decent shape with Darrel Scott, but who knows if that's true or not. At 6'0" and 200 pounds, he'd be awfully big for a CB, but a good size for safety, possibly to grow into a linebacker. To be a RB, he'd have to gain about 20 more pounds and hope he doesn't grow any more. Ideal height for a running back is about 5'10" or so. Of course, heights on recruits are often inflated, so he could be more like 5'10".
  6. I wouldnt mind having a CB his size WR are getting bigger and physical so you need a bigger and physical but still fast CB to defend the new breed of Taller WRs IMO
  7. I doubt Scott is coming here. I hope we get Alonzo Landry, if he gets his grades together.
  8. Me too, definitely would be surprised but he says we're in his top three and he is planning a visit in Sept or Oct. Our coaches are in contact- he said he hears from them a lot and also said how he liked Coach Porter. Never know but I'm not holding my breath.

Would think at some point, USC would be too stacked and we'd snag one out of Cali though- he who laughs last laughs the loudest. :thumb:
  9. Darrell Scott isn't coming to USC IMO. He's going back to Florida.
  10. I thought he was from Cali? Transplant or my bad?
