KY football excitement level

Winston is right I am old enough to remember the days of Johnny Vaught. They kicked ass for a while.

 

It was described by JC Politz not Ferguson. Ferguson came after Politz.

 

We lived in Alexandria and drove to BR for every home game - Dad never missed one from post WWII until he couldn't walk into the stadium in the late 90s. The radio (AM only in those days) would play Politz's call every hour. I remember getting getting chills as a 10 year old listening to JC call the play.

 

John broadcast Tiger games for a while prior to the '59 season. My failing memory contributed to me thinking it was John who called the Cannon return.

 

What's left of my memory vividly remembers that run.

 

My memory is bad. The doctor prescribed me pills for it but I forget to take em.

 

I can tell you one thing, Ky is excited about this game. I sense a strong focus.

 

If this coach and team have an once of pride left no way we lose. If O has totally lost the locker room we lose. If the players play this game for self pride and not for O we still win. Jones and Peetz need to coach their best game to get another job should O get fired or be retained.

Kentucky may be excited to play this game I hope we are not excited to play this game but rather pissed and focused.

We win tonight in fact we may win big and I emphasize may.
