Cadi-attack - thanks for the update, hey if we don't get Kwon "hope we do" than I would much prefer to see him go to the Plains than to sink into Gump-dumb!!! just tie a knot in Bama's mascots trunk and constipate him everyone knows only crap comes out of the front of a Bama mascot. I agree with you with Patterson's talents wasted at UT - although UT folks could say that with our highly touted our receivers have been over the past 5 years and how under-utilized they have been once they got here. I hope that changes next year with Mett "come on big boy throw that pigskin!!!!"
that was a good idea to try to get Elston in on a visit, he has hurt his recruiting a little by not committing early, missed on his chance to commit to Clemson and Tenn backed off. So LSU would be a great opportunity (definitely better than those 2 teams mentionesd for him and it would definitely help with Kwon. His mom and stepdad or bama fans and he wants to go there but based on the talk around here, he is not too thrilled with the greyshirt offer. also he is almost completely back from the knee injury, he is running. dont know about weight training.
brett , I'm now hearing that LSU has offered Trae Elston .... pkg deal to get KA .... it's a fifty-fifty battle between LSU-AU now. Van Gorder visited yesterday and I'm hearing there has been a lot of local, agenda-driven pressure on KA to go out of state. This one is gonna' be tight ...
Yea it could go either way for Kwon. Not sure which way he is leaning. Elston is supposed to be coming in today for a visit after spending two days at Okie St.
Latest speculation is Kwon is a little worried about how many LBs we have in this class and may be taking the greyshirt at Bama over Auburn. Not sure if Elston made it in today but rumors that he is headed to Ole Miss.
Wow when a kid is willing to take a grey shirt instead of getting a full ride at LSU. Now even I am starting to worry that something isnt right.
If he selects bama, I predict he'll be processed-out within a year and be looking for a new home outside the SEC. It's a shame what saban's roster management practices are doing to in-state talent .... :dis:
Just not feeling the love or excitement from Bama nation on Kwon, just yet. Bama has got some great LBs coming in, including Reggie Ragland. If he comes without a greyshirt, it probably means we have whiffed on one of our few remaining DL targets. I hope not, but If he takes a greyshirt to be at Bama, I respect his dedication and resolve. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, no regrets.
What is Bama's cap this year, 33 recruits? I'm still trying to find that exemption clause for Bama regarding the mandated 25 recruit rule handed down by the SEC this year.
