I don't see the connection between the two. Thompson could play LB if added more weight but I don't see him anywhere other than S. I think the only issue Kwon might have with LSU is the number of LBs we took in this class.
his stepdad and mom are big Bama fans, and he wants to be there, so regardless of what anyone says , the greyshirt is a big issue, if it wasnt the case he would have already accepted it. the bama inside guys are even telling people that he isnt too thrilled about it. and i doubt depth is an issue because bama is still loaded at LB as well and all signs would be pointing to AU since they need help immediately..
Agreed and mom being a BAMA fan may help us. If she is like most Bama fans she would rather not see him play than play at AU.:thumb:
Doesn't always work that way. I would agree that coach Saban and Alabama are the lures, just depends how much of a relationship has been established between them. Without the knee injury and a willingness to consider safety, he would have been offered minus the grayshirt.
I can't believe you went over my head publicly after I already answered this question for you last night. I'm hurt. :bncry:
Tusk, your gut feeling on how Bama fans think: given that as of now LSU offers Bama a much tougher challenge on the field than Auburn, who would bama fans rather see get a difference-making recruit, if it came down to LSU and Auburn?
i think most feel now its a AU/LSU battle but he also hasnt said he has completely ruled out the greyshirt offer. i know i am hearing now that bama might be adding Korren Kirven to the class after all which will pretty much solidify that the greyshirt status wont change
