This opens a spot for Clifton Garret to come in and play beside Beckwith. These two are going to be sick in the middle.

Best of luck Kwon, wish you would have shown up yesterday but you're still a Tiger and always will be. Hope you don't end up like Trev Faulk.

I can not believe Chavis did not START the year with Beckwith playing..........the more I look, the more reasons I find that LSU CHOSE not to get in a bidding war for this guy.

I think if anybody on the LSU defensive roster has a chance in the NFL right now, its Kwon. I think Collins and Hunter are fooling their selves. Personally, I think Kwon should stay, but cant blame him for needing the paycheck. Best of Luck to him!

Kwon may benefit from a NFL DC and LBer coach teaching him discipline, but imo he needs another year. He wasn't exactly lighting the field up this year. But his raw talent is off the charts. Wish him well.

I agree to an extent. While Chavis for sure is a good DC, his lighter lines and LB'ers were killing us up the gut on run defense. A&M might improve slightly on the D side after a couple seasons, but I don't see them turni9ng in to a shut down defense.

I like Chavis, but his 3rd down defenses left me cussing out my tv too many times. I blame him for a some of my receding hair line.

I agree 100%, although these 2 guys played MLB, I think Kevin Minter and Kelvin Sheppard had better careers at LSU and they are nobodies in the NFL. Hell, even Barrow was just as good or better than Kwon. We will miss Kwon, but its not like we are losing Peterson, Honey Badger or Mingo. Just another stud at LSU who will be average at best in the NFL. I wish him better than average, but I wouldn't be down in the dumps if my favorite pro team misses on him in the draft (or as an undrafted FA) just sayin....

The only "draft eligible" player on this roster I would want on my favorite pro sports team - OT L. Collins

Receding hairline, broken tv remotes, excessive damage to my liver....lol - I agree, A&M fans that think they will have an LSU/Alabama type lock down defense now, are fooling their selves. Those defenses are made possible by offenses who possess the ball, and give the d time. Those defenses are full of raw talent, its not all coaching like they think it is.
