Step aside Moreno.. Better yet, step aside every RB in the SEC. There's a new clear-cut rushing leader in town.. Congrats to Scott on a superb season thus far. Also to the O-line for their contribution to that. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/stats/bycategory?cat=Rushing&conference=I-A_SEC&year=2008 :tigereye:
Good part : Charles Scott is #1 with only 4 games. Most other top 10 guys had a chance to play an extra game so far. Bad part : Second best rusher (Andrew Hatch) for LSU is 30th in the list and he is not even a runnning back.
Not so sure that's bad. I still feel like we have plenty of depth at the RB position, but I like having a workhorse back. For years it seems LSU was always splitting all the handoffs all game with 3 different backs. I think having a back who gets most of the carries is helping the offense's consistancy rushing.
I want CS to get his numbers but be able to rely on the other rbs more every darren mcfadden has a felix jones
Scott is first by a long shot...he's the only RB averaging 100+yards per game and his is at 133/game Not only that, Brandon LaFell is #1 in the SEC in Rec. yards/game. And only behind the UGA receiver because they played 1 extra game
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/stats/bycategory?cat=Punting&conference=I-A_SEC&year=2008 Look at Auburn's punting yards. Ouch!
Don't forget to add Shoemakers 7 attempts and 250 yards to the top one. And UGA's punter has a long of 77 yards.
and KW is the has the #1 QB rating in the SEC. seriously, Lee is #2 behind Tebow in QB rating of those that matter. lets hope he keeps it up when LSU hits the gauntlet.
I dunno about that. Duos like that don't come around too often. They are both tearing up the NFL right now. They were a better tandem than Cadillac/Ronnie. I get the point though. We have more than capable guys behind them, and they will get their touches.
