Dandy Don has Pittman leaving after the year. Or did he just scan the roster for all seniors and just copied the names?

Kirston can apply for another year of eligibility if he wants to, but I doubt he will. He's probably gone.

Do you know where he projects to go in the draft?

I have no idea why he would want to leave. His prospects in the pros are somewhat limited. He will be a low round draft pick at best.

It will depend on how he does in the workouts.

I think the highest he could is around the 4th or 5th round -- probably as a 3-4 OLB, or maybe a situational DE in a 4-3. Teams typically look for that kind of specialized player on the second day, and then it's a function of supply and demand.

We remember how well he did as a freshman. Then he fell off the map, I think due to the injury. Now he has had a pretty good season. He would do himself some justice by coming back for another year and lead this Tiger defense with some dominating play. We need him and he needs it as well.

That's exactly right. He's a good player that's still tapping his potential.

    That's all I am saying.

So come back Kirston, dominate the SEC, get drafted on the first day.

You can't realistically ask Kirston to come back. What if he gets hurt again? At least in the NFL he'd pick up a check. And moreover, he's going to be a steal for someone. He's showing flashes of that first step he had as a freshman. If he can ever truly recover, he's going to be a great addition to some NFL team.

That said, if he comes back, I'd be ecstatic.

id say the opposite. for a player with limited prospects for making $$ in fball, he'd be better served taking the opportunity to get a year and a half of grad school for free.
