OSU to win on the Mike and Mike show this morning, as did Shawn Salsbury. There seems to be a shift in the media to pick OSU and bash LSU. Kiper said we could have lost 5 games. I guess Corso speaks and idiots listen. I hope it helps motivate our team, looks like both teams could have a chip on their shoulder.
It kills me that some of these guys can take the ability to win a close, tough game and turn that ability into a negative.
SCREW EM, glad I will be in New Orleans soon so I will not have time to listen to all of this stuff.

All about ratings and "entertainment". They don't care if you love them or hate them, as long as you're saying their names.

Times are changing. When Ohio State went undefeated in 2002 they won a bunch of close, ugly games that people today would say they should have won convincingly. Nobody in the media bashed them for it then, but instead praised them for having the audacity to play a close game and win. With the popularity of the spread offense analysts now seem to want flashy 40 point wins against everybody to prove your are a good football team. Smash mouth, grind it out, close game football seems to be on the back burner. And that pretty much sucks.

I wish they would all pick OSU in a blowout. What does it matter, they said Florida would beat UM too. They know what's going to happen about as much as me & you.:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

My favorite part of the Kiper proclamations was when he said the ONLY Georgia player that would start at USC was the kicker -- which explains why Georgia was in so much trouble with Stanford when UGa suffered one key injury . . . oh, wait, that was USC!

Truth is, Kiper is an idiot. He is marginal at the draft but I don't think he even knows what real college football is like.

I did hear that and was laughing my a@$ off. He must not have watched the game. Hell, both of UGA's tailbacks could play for USC and 1/2 of their offensive and defensive line. Actually if they played I would bet my money on Georgia right now.
