I'll pass. Some foods just don't belong together. I like peanut butter and I like ketchup but I would never put ketchup on a peanut butter sandwich. Some people actually make hamburgers with a donut as the bun. On the other hand bacon goes with anything.
Fine. How about some chocolate syrup on your boudin too? And some ice cream too. Put it all in the blender and make a boudin shake. Seriously I never heard of putting cane syrup on it. The only thing I put on my boudin is salt or some Tony Chacherie's, pepper and hot sauce.
They are complete garbage in my opinion. Never been a fan of them and never will. They bring nothing to the table as far as our culture is concerned other than making more money for local dentist.
I thought I was the only one. They're 'ok', but they're not anything I look forward to or couldn't live without. When offered some, I usually only take a couple of bites.
I would much rather have a good pie than any kind of cake but I would rather eat a good carrot cake or a German chocolate cake than king cake any day.
I'm just not a sweets guy, never have been. Yellow cake with chocolate icing will get me. I like a good cinnamon roll and a few other things but it is rare that I actually eat them.
