yep, apparently i was a suspect last night. About 11 last night my little sister and her friends showed up at my house. We went ride to campus to show them mike and his cage, and i was driving around showing them where different stuff was on campus. I stopped by the Huey P Long pool house to show them that and we were chased down by like 6 or 7 LSUPD. (at the time i didn't know about the shooting) So now it looks like i have to have a sit down with the dean..
One of the victims was my little brother's Biology teacher whom he actually had a personal relationship with (the most out of any of his profs, at least). All this senseless violence going around right now is just getting out of hand.
From what I gathered it seems like a student murderer. Disgruntled about a grade or something with a TA. Whatever the case this is horrible. And also, I don't know of anyone who got the text message thing. It wasn't that "some people" didn't get the text. Very few people actually got them.
I'm shocked that out of the 30,000 or so students only 8,000 signed up for the text messaging anyways. Color me stupid, but I'd rather get notification if something major is going down on my campus, which is why I signed up for it. Granted, it wouldn't have affected me since at that time last night I was on the other side of town in bed, but still. Hopefully they'll get this straightened out.
