Violations in the past hasn't made a big difference for the Vols. I remember Reggie White on local TV telling that they bought him. The interviewer conveniently lost the tape of that interview and nothing was done.
Here are my random thoughts on the subject. 1. Baby Kiffen is one of the most egotistical coaches I have ever seen. He has no humility at all and never misses an opportunity to anoint himself as the greatest coach on the planet. Now he is proving to do anything to get a quick reputation established as a top tier recruiter. 2. Old man Kiffen is a fine coach but whose reputation in the past few years has been bolstered by having remarkable assistant coaches working beneath him (see Mike Tomlin and others) who deserve more of the credit for (elder) Kiffin's success than they are credited for. 3. Yaw Yaw exposed his true colors and proved to the world that his only allegiance is to himself. He could care less about his home state and will forsake Louisiana in a heartbeat if he can make a quick buck or bolster his own ego. He used Sean Payton to ignite a bidding war between the Saints, LSU, and UT for his services. There is no bridge that is beyond burning in his mind. As others have stated, what goes around comes around. These clowns will not only have their arses handed to them on the field but they will quickly attract the attention of NCAA investigators. I almost feel sorry for Volunteer fans.
Anyone else find it amusing he takes a shot at the three SEC coaches who have won a BCS Championship this decade? Saban, Meyer, and Miles (re: Janzen Jackson)... Incredible. Not sure he has what it takes to back it up, either. Given after Miles called out Alabama he won a championship. We'll see what Kiffin does. I expect it won't be anything close to good enough..
