 Priceless...the whole thing...(except where you stole my joke about Tiga playing Major League Baseball )
i literally laughed out loud when i read that. even if a person is not an "expert" if they are stating what they honestly think, i read it. their opinion is what makes for good discussion. like many others, if i see google/cut/paste my eyes glaze over and i move on. i will admit that there are certain posters that when they post about fb, i read their posts a little more closely. others i do the same when their posts are about baseball. or basketball. but the important part is that i am getting their opinion. they just also happen to be very knowledgeable. i also admit that i only know the basics about football. i dont pretend to know what i dont. but i love football. if i can learn more (and i am always willing to learn) then that is a bonus from the discussion. i do know a bit more about baseball, but am by no means an expert. i just happen to absolutely love the game. i am not joking when i say my goal in life is to be a baseball bum. i would love to be able to spend my springs/summers at the ball park. unfortunately, that little thing called "work" interferes with that goal for now. however, with football, baseball, and all sports, i love my tigers. and that is the common thread here, no matter what your level of knowledge.
Sorry, but those stats are very deceiving. Hatch is very mobile...has quick feet, good running instincts and is a much more capable running threat than Lee.
That may be true, but just because a QB can run better than Lee doesn't make him a legit dual-threat QB.
I don't know a whole lot about the two battling for the starting job, but my guess would be that by getting recruited to a top flight school, they have to have some talent, and the staff to help them along. I would imagine that though there will be a drop off in talent from RP, there's talent behind him and with the talent you have everywhere else on the field, whomever starts will be at least a little insulated/protected, enough to develop a bit through the year, and you never know who could surprise you. I'm not sure it will be a strength for y'all like last year, but i don't think it will be a glaring weakness either. can't be, you guys have to beat them gators!
