Lost in the hype of the shootout win yesterday was the gruesome injury to Robinson. It was awful and could even be career threatening. I hope not, but it's going to be a long road back. With that said, do we go out and try to sign Pierre? I'm surprised no other team has picked him up yet. Maybe they tried and he's just done with football. Anyway, we should try to pick him up, if he's still in decent shape. Either him or Tim Hightower, who was one of the last cuts.
Got rolled up and fractured his tibia. They put him on IR today and signed Hightower. The bright side of this (and there is no bright side for Robinson, we can only hope he comes back 100% from this), is Ingram played the best ball of his career last season when they injuries forced them to ride him.
I think they made him an offer. I don't think he signed. I think he likes retirement too much. That's really the only explanation of why he's not still playing because he had plenty left in the tank.
