The key as it is every year is playing as a team and refusing to lose. Attitude is the difference maker guys and gals. If you listen to players of all sports who have won championships the locker room is where champions are made. Knowing the guy next to you is giving more than his all will inspire you to do whatever it takes to win. The talent difference at the top is slight enough for any of the top 5 or so teams to win it all. We had that team spirit in 2003, 2007 and 2011 until the end. If we have it this year we can do it again.
Actually, Wing & Alleman were terribly inconsistent last year. Drew missed a couple of FGs in the bama game that would have been the difference. Wing's backup (Khean?) did very well in the game where Wing was suspended.
Yeah, good points and the punting game doesn't worry me. We've had solid place kickers for about 10 years now so we're probably due to have issues with that area. I still remember parts of the 90s when I never knew if a 35 yd FG was going to be good or not.
