Besides trying to get some pass offense going and restoring some confidence at the QB position, what are some valuable keys to beating the Gators this week in Gainsville? :tigereye:
I think we'll match-up well with them. They do a lot of things WVU does, only with better players. To answer the question, stuff the run. That's what they do. Those misdirection runs with guys in motion. Stuff the run and limit their big plays. If we can keep them in 3rd and 5 or more, we'll stand a good chance.
scoring more points. sorry, couldnt resist. defense getting some turnovers hopefully getting us good field position. and in range for jasper's leg.
kinda sad we've been forced to lower our expectations on offense to this level, huh? thank goodness for Jasper, he might be the best FG kicker in college football
it is. but even if not for jasper, or offense has been so sluggish (for lack of a better word) i hope for that every time our d gets on the field just because i dont think our offense can sustain a long drive.
I think are offense is going to have to stay on the field longer in this game to keep the defense fresh. If we have several 3 and outs early we could be in for a long day.
-I don't think winning the turnover margin will be enough. I think we need to have zero turnovers and create one or two ourselves. -Limit the penalties but this will be even more difficult during a big away game -Establish the running game so that we're not asking the quarterbacks to go out and do too much
