he looked that way a few years ago. after 2012 and quite a few other games he bungled. he rebounds with quickly with 4.5 on the table.
Ensminger has needed to retire for years now. Our tight ends are never much of a factor. I think he will be the first casualty. Peveto has much to answer for with special teams, he could move on, too. Steele only has a two-year contract and he will probably get both years. Defense was going to be thin this year and that is not his fault. If not for the busted coverage big plays almost every game by the defense backs, who are way to proud of themselves, the defense would have been OK this year. This ain't DBU and if those guys don't start playing their positions properly, then we need new recruits or a new defensive backfield coach. Something is bad wrong there. Cameron is going nowhere unless to a better job.
How would we know whether Ensminger is doing a good job or not? It's not his fault that Les chooses not to utilize the TE position
this is what those that would never want to make a change, do. blame everything else. the list is endless and keeps you from having to address the real problem. the HNIC.
Another question would be if we're not going to use the TE, what do we need him for? Maybe we could use that position for a coach that knows something about special teams.
what pisses me off about that is Smith and Washington who hasn't seen the field yet are really good pass catchers. Washington would be a mismatch on any linebacker or safety trying to cover him as is Smith. It's crazy.
Among many head-scratching assistant decisions, I just want to know what in the hell possessed Les to hire a proven incompetent like Peveto a second time.
