not what i was saying. i was saying peveto wont be enough for miles this time. he may need to have a bigger fall guy than special teams.
Ensminger? It's not like we need a TE coach. Frank isn't getting fired, Ball is new and Grimes too. Only other person I see possible is Cam, which wouldn't hurt my feelings, but who is going to take an OC job under Miles? How do you convince someone with a good reputation for running an offense that Miles isn't going to ruin that reputation by insisting on 3 yards and a cloud of dust?
Fire Kevin Steele, Fire Cam Cameron, and fire Peveto. Then tell Miles if he doesn't fire all three then he is getting fired.
What does it matter if Les hires Moe, Larry and Curley? Or the ghost of Bill Walsh? Les is calling the shots on offense
Exactly, that's why there is no reason to fire Cam. Unless the AD makes Miles agree to hire a different philosophy OC and demands that Miles let him have full control. Most big time coaches wouldn't agree with that.
to be fair miles does not deserve to be fired. rattling his cage and letting him know hes been too comfortable is long overdue however. he always opened it a bit more after we lost a few. but its certainly not in his nature. will be interesting to see how it plays out. he should just let cameron coach his own offense and not watch. because i know it will kill him to see us pass to the tight end or running backs.
It would be on Miles then because he would have no one to blame if the offense didn't succeed but himself.
Or Miles could be burned out and ready to call it quits. He certainly has looked confused and disoriented in his press conferences lately.
