http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/06/22/AR2007062201782.html Sad story, 36 years old, his whole life ahead of him with a couple young kids. Not sure if many of you remember watching him play, but he was pretty good.
My first thought was to his family then this... Wow, this kind of stuff is a realty call to all of us. This could happen to anyone!
http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20070624&content_id=2046500&vkey=news_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb I just saw that Rod Beck has died at the age of 38 I know some of these young people dying are due to possibly substance abuse or something but I also wonder about some of this having to do with our food supply. The wife is studying nuitrition and it is quite stunning when you discover just how much bad chemicals are in the food supply. Between trans fat, sodium and other chemicals lead to obesity, clogged arteries and hypertension and diabetes which shortens most lives. A lot of kids are also now coming down with these issues like never before.
Uhhhh, no it wasn't. The football Kevin Mitchell mentioned above passed away April 30th. The baseball Kevin Mitchell is still with us...
