I agree with u that O line is not a priority but the QB spot is something i was not too impressed with last year. I hope that JR proves me wrong.

It doesn't matter where USC does or doesn't recruit. All that matters is what LSU does, and LSU has never depended on recruiting in California. Anyone we get from across the country is a bonus, not something we've been counting on.

How is Pete Carroll doing it? Hmmm...let's think about that for a minute.

L.A. or La. Los Angeles or Baton Rouge...OK, I've almost got it now...Los Angeles or Baton Rouge...

We're not going to sign everybody we want, and we're not going to sign kids that want to play in L.A. Period. We've done alright for ourselves with our past classes, and shouldn't get too bent out of shape about this year.

Lavelle Hawkins - had one of the best recruiting tapes I have ever seen. He left LSU and is reported to be enrolled in a California JC with the intention of going to USC. Rumor is that he was homesick...

Giving credit to Pete Carroll takes nothing away from LSU - bottom line, it's just impressive. That's all I'm saying. They have built a scary, deep program. Not that we haven't - I'm just impressed with what he's done...

All of this from a two time loser in the pro's. I think that he gives them all four years worth of weed and a new Escalade.
