Politics Kevin McCarthy admits Benghazi Investigation a scam

Where did I say they were the ONLY ones. Of course they all spend. The 2 Republican doofs just went along with a lot of stuff that the dems wanted. I also never said anything about shutting down the government. I said it needs to be curtailed and run smarter.

Wait, so the investigation is over? I didn't know that.

 

Funny thing about this is the office of the Benghazi investigation. I was in DC in March at the capitol for some business and I took a picture of the door. You would pass it and think it was the restroom.

we all knew what this investigation was about from the jump. they just admitted it. Im not getting excited like LaSalle because its Washington.

Couldn't agree more. Surely this isn't news to anyone is it? I thought everyone knew this. It's what politicians do. They investigate stuff that makes the other side look bad. As for Mccarthy, it will be interesting to see if he becomes speaker after this. Even his (R) colleagues are repudiating what he said. Not a good look. Let's get Scalise in there. I know nothing about him but at least he's from Louisiana.

Second, once again you are referencing a religious text and STILL have not provided a shred of evidence that HRC has done anything wrong except make accusations that are unfounded. Nor have you been able to refute the fact that McCarthy publicly admitted that the Benghazi investigation has been about nothing else but taking down HRC.

I'm still waiting for the link where you show me that she has done something wrong in the eyes of the law. Or, for that matter, simply legally unethical. But your not able to provide either.

 

semantics my friend. please try and stay on topic. can you defend the fact that McCarthy admitted publicly that the Benghazi investigation has been about eroding HRC's poll numbers rather than a search for truth, as they have maintained until now. Can you?

 

It's definitely not news because, as you say, everyone has known all along what the motivations were. I would challenge you, however, to give me an example where the Democrats have had an ongoing investigation that was tax payer funded that was also politically motivated. I'm not saying there haven't been any but I can't remember them. If nothing else, they should have done more investigations during the Bush Administration.
I don't know about Scalise. He has too many skeletons in his closet. Plus, in all honesty, the wing of the party that wanted Boehnor out do not represent a majority of the Republicans in congress. That said, it will be hard for the tea party wing to have one of their own because they simply do not have the votes.

 

Of course. It's Washington politics as usual. Neither side is lily white in refraining to use tactics that are politically feasible. And the Benghazi investigation had the benefit of exposing her mishandling of classified emails
