Maybe, maybe not. Faulk was a great player but great players in any sport rarely become great coaches. Larry Bird was an exception.
too bad it’s a position that isn’t allowed to recruit. don’t know if Faulk has the gift of “sales pitch”, but him being that first big name stud guy to stay home in a long time would seem like a homerun recruiter in Louisiana. him still holding records (and 3 Super Bowl rings) wouldn’t hurt either.

Kevin Faulk’s knowledge of the position and what he learned in New England can’t have a value even put on it. Not to mention what Nootch said. All eyes on 3 baby
I think there are rules about not being on the field during practice and rules about whether they can b in contact with players. Maybe somebody here knows. The special teams consultant obviously didn't coach the placekickers this season.
