Why not? Why not expect improvement from our team? Like do you not want the team to improve each week as we'll? Confused as to why simple critiques get blown way out of context here.
When you are whipping a team's ass, and they can't gain shit on your defense, you run the freakin' ball to shorten the game. Football 101. Are you too young to have seen the '94 AU game when we threw 4 interceptions in the 4th quarter when we had no reason to throw at all?
Because I've watched Les Miles' teams since 2005, last year was an anomaly. We run the ball. It's bland, and it's not gonna work against the best teams, but it will work 80% of the time. I'm used to it.
Damn, just like the Tigers you brought your A game tonight. Preach on, I'm passing the collection plate.
101 10 years ago. There are passes called "high percentage passes".. They build confidence. A confident QB = Mett 2012. Throwing strikes. Throwing WRs open. knowing you can convert a third and long. We haven't built the confidence of our QBs. It's a fact.
See, that's just it. I think we are improving--in the very key area of the defensive side of the ball. That is what has really let us down in the last couple of seasons.
Not this year. I think it's safe to say we are an 8ish win team. We need to start building the confidence of our QB. Not hiding them. Shorts passes would help. 14 passes is light. It just comes to light when Ole Miss, Bama, etc put 8-9 in the box and We can't throw.
