What's funny about that is even up until Henry VIII it was illegal to translate the bible into English. It wasn't until Henry was pissed at the church for not allowing him to divorce that he started allowing it to be translated, so even then we don't know what was lost in translation.
I'm fairly certain it was Martin Luther who first translated the bible into a language other than Latin.
Apparently we are seeing an example of that. The God Christians worship is the God of the Jews. Same God. They didn't trade him in for a new one, they just added Son-O-God. I didn't say God was Jewish, I said he is a Jewish God. You were taught the 10 Commandments in Sunday school just like everybody else was.
Whatever. The point is that the 10 Commandments are part and parcel of the Christian Bible and are a part of Christian theology.
Christians will always need the Old Testament.....it's where they go for support when they want to discriminate or hate

That's why no one takes Huckaby seriously. Even religious people know he's a nut job. Anyone that worried about what I do in my bedroom with another consenting adult shouldn't be trusted. He does however make sense on some of his non religious conservative ideas. I just can't figure out how he thinks the government should get out of all your business except when it comes to his idea of morality. You can open a business, run it unethically and rob people blind no problem, but get a blow job and you're going straight to hell!
