Good article on where he stands with the Redskins:

"Keiland's been very impressive," Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said. "He's a guy that does a great job in pass protection, especially for a young guy. He's got some great running skills. He catches the ball. He's got a big upside, and we'll get a chance to see what he can do in live situations. But I like the way he's handled himself thus far."

Thanks for the info. I hope Keiland finds greater success in the NFL than he did here at . He seemed like a good guy, never complained, worked well with his teammates. I'd like to see him do well, as I like to see all former Tigers do well.

Yeah, your assessments are right on. If he does well in DC, and I wouldn't be surprised given CMS's ability to find diamond in the rough RBs, then it speaks mostly toward the blocking he received here.

Love KW...always thought the kid would be a star in BR. For some reason, I just think he came through at the wrong time.

Wish much success on Sundays...maybe we can get him down in NOLA in the future

Keiland's too classy to give a middle finger to Porter, Miles, Crowton, or whoever screwed him over during his career at LSU. K-Dub does it with symbolic gestures. TD Keiland!!!

K-Dub finished the night well. He had 11 carries for 51 yds. an Avg. of 4.6 yds. /carry(Highest on the team). He finished with 2 TD's. He also had one reception for 7 yards.

Also on the team is Perry Riley, he too had a good night with a couple tackles, 1 TFL and one QB hit.

    Best of luck to both.

watching the replay on NFL network right now.

turned it on just in time to see his 2nd TD.
ran hard behind the right guard for 7 yards or so and broke a tackle or 2 en route to the endzone.

I thought Riley was in on every tackle it seemed. If not, he was near the ball on every play. They said his name all night. He needs to improve, for sure, but I think he could be a solid player for the Redskins.

And Keiland looked very good. They pronounced his name 'key-land' with a pause. Sounded a bit weird.
